๐จ Decorating Tips
Room Scoring System
Your house has a Deco Score based on how many furniture pieces are placed in each room. Higher scores give relationship bonuses with NPCs who visit.
| Score | Rating | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 0โ50 | ๐ Bare | No bonus |
| 51โ150 | ๐ Cozy | +2 friendship per visit |
| 151โ300 | ๐ Beautiful | +4 friendship per visit |
| 301โ500 | โค๏ธ Stunning | +6 friendship per visit, spouse bonus +50% |
| 500+ | โจ Paradise | +10 friendship per visit, daily gift from spouse |
Theme Ideas
| Theme | Colors | Key Furniture | Flooring |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cozy Cabin | Brown, Green, Warm Yellow | Wood furniture, fireplace, fur rug | Wood Floor |
| Magic Study | Purple, Blue, Silver | Bookshelves, crystal lamp, mana well | Celestial Tile |
| Garden Room | Green, Pink, White | Potted plants, fountain, glass walls | Stone Tile + Carpet |
| Dark Manor | Black, Red, Gold | Throne, tapestry, chandelier | Dark Marble |
| Beach Retreat | Sand, Blue, Coral | Shell decor, light wood, netting | Sandy Stone |
Maximizing Deco Score Efficiently
The fastest way to hit Stunning (301+) without spending a fortune:
- Craft 10 Small Tables (30 Wood total) โ Place 2 per room
- Craft 10 Linen Curtains (20 Fiber + 5 Wool) โ One per window slot
- Buy 1 Chandelier from Eli (800 Tickets) โ Centerpiece for living room
- Craft Flooring for every room โ Bare floors lose points
- Add 1 Large Plant per room โ Magic Sapling (500 Tickets from Nel'Vari)
Tip: Flooring and wallpaper give the most points per material cost. Always put flooring down before adding furniture.
๐๏ธ Town Building System
Sun Haven has a unique Town Building mechanic where you restore and renovate buildings around town. This is separate from your house.
Renovatable Buildings
| Building | Cost | Materials | Reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Abandoned Barn | 3,000 Tix | 100 Wood, 50 Stone | Unlocks second barn area |
| Old Mill | 5,000 Tix | 80 Wood, 30 Iron Bar | +20% flour production |
| Broken Bridge | 8,000 Tix | 200 Wood, 100 Stone | Connects to forest foraging area |
| Ruined Tower | 15,000 Tix | 150 Stone, 25 Gold Bar | Mana tower โ +50 mana/day |
| Abandoned Library | 20,000 Tix | 300 Wood, 40 Mithril Bar | +2 skill books per week |
| Town Square Fountain | 30,000 Tix | 100 Stone, 50 Gold Bar | +1 heart to all NPCs permanently |
| Farmers' Market Stalls | 12,000 Tix | 80 Wood, 20 Iron Bar | +15% sell price at shop |
| Wishing Well | 10,000 Tix | 50 Stone, 10 Gold Bar | Daily random item (gems, ore, tickets) |
Priority Order for Town Building
1. Broken Bridge โ More foraging = more crafting materials
2. Abandoned Barn โ Second barn for more animals
3. Town Square Fountain โ Permanent +1 heart for ALL NPCs
4. Farmers' Market Stalls โ +15% sell price (pays for itself)
5. Abandoned Library โ Extra skill books per week
6. Ruined Tower โ Passive mana generation
7. Old Mill โ Nice but low priority
8. Wishing Well โ Fun but random, lowest ROI
Tip: The Farmers' Market Stalls (+15% sell price) and Town Square Fountain (+1 heart all NPCs) should be your first two major renovations after the Broken Bridge.
๐ฆ Storage Solutions
Managing inventory in Sun Haven is critical โ you have limited backpack space and new recipes appear constantly.
| Storage Type | Slots | Stack Limit | Materials | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Chest | 20 | 99 | 25 Wood | Early game overflow |
| Large Chest | 40 | 999 | 50 Wood + 10 Iron Bar | Mid-game main storage |
| Magic Chest | 40 | 999 | 1 Gold Bar + 5 Void Dust | Remote access network |
| Fridge | 30 | 999 | Kitchen Upgrade | Food ingredients |
| Wardrobe | 30 | 999 | 20 Wood + 5 Cloth | Clothing and outfits |
Storage Room Layout (Manor Basement)
[Magic Chest] โ Ore and bars
[Magic Chest] โ Wood, stone, fiber
[Magic Chest] โ Crafted items
[Magic Chest] โ Seeds and crops
[Large Chest] โ Food and meals
[Large Chest] โ Furniture and decor
[Large Chest] โ Festival items
[Large Chest] โ Spare gear and weapons
Tip: Place Magic Chests around the map โ one at your farm, one in the mines, one at the beach. Deposit ore directly at the mine entrance, withdraw bars at home. They're expensive but transform your workflow.
๐ Relationship House Items
Certain items in your house affect NPC relationships:
| Item | Effect | Where to Get |
|---|---|---|
| Spouse Portrait | +1 heart/day with spouse | Craft after marriage (Workbench) |
| Child's Toy Box | Child happiness +1/day | Eli's Shop (1,000 Tix) |
| Pet Bed | Pet happiness while away | Eli's Shop (350 Tix) |
| Guest Room | House Lv 4+ | Sleepover mechanic (+2 hearts with visiting NPC) |
| Crystal Bloom | All NPCs +1 heart/week | Nel'Vari, 2,500 Tix |
| Town Dedication Plaque | +5 hearts with one NPC | Achieve Estate upgrade |
๐ก Housing Tips & Tricks
- Upgrade to Comfortable Home first โ Having a kitchen at home saves 15+ minutes per day running to the town stove.
- Storage before decoration โ Build at least 4 Large Chests before buying a single decorative item. Organization pays.
- Bookshelf is worth every ticket โ An extra skill point every day adds up fast. Read the book immediately after buying.
- Magic Chests are endgame game-changers โ Save your Gold Bars for Magic Chests, not for selling. A network of 4 Magic Chests changes your daily routine.
- Town renovations stack โ The Farmers' Market bonus (+15% sell price) applies to everything you sell, including artisan goods. It's the best gold investment in town.
- Furniture can be picked up โ Unlike some games, you can freely move and rotate furniture without destroying it. Experiment!
- Theme bonuses don't stack โ You get one bonus per room, not per furniture type. A "Magic Study" theme gives +3 friendship per visit, not +3 per bookshelf.
