๐Ÿช Farlands Guides

JanduSoft's space farming sim | 1.0 released July 16, 2026 | PC, Switch, PS4/5, Xbox One/Series | $17.99

Farlands is a farming-and-life sim in which you buy a whole abandoned planet at the edge of the solar system, restore it as a homestead, and then travel between planets in an old spaceship to gather resources, meet a small cast of residents, and uncover the mystery behind your planet's suspiciously low price. It's the "buy a farm and escape the city" fantasy taken to its logical extreme โ€” Stardew Valley, but the farm is a planet and the town is a solar system.

The Hook

Most farming games hand you a small plot and a watering can. Farlands hands you an entire planet โ€” then quietly reveals why it was so cheap. The classic cozy-farming loop is all here: crops across three seasons, tool upgrades, animals, fishing, bug-catching, cooking, crafting, mines, festivals, and eight romanceable residents. But the map is a solar system, every trip between planets costs fuel and real in-game time, and an alien species is judging whether your whole corner of the galaxy is worth saving. It's the same "escape the city" fantasy as Stardew Valley โ€” just scaled up to a bargain planet you bought with your savings.
