The Hook

Most farming games ask you to build a farm in a nice place. Doloc Town asks you to build one in a wasteland where the weather is the main boss. Acid rain will eat your crops if you don't cover them; a scorching sun will dry out your soil. The game's whole loop is scavenge → plant → protect → sell → upgrade — and once you automate with drones, the farm mostly runs itself while you go fight monsters with a flying combat drone.
