Crafting in Sun Haven works differently than most farming sims. Instead of learning recipes from skill levels alone, you unlock new recipes through a combination of skill progression, exploration drops, and quest rewards. This guide breaks down every crafting station, recipe category, and the most profitable production chains.

Sun Haven has five crafting stations, each with its own recipe pool:

Fastest way to level Crafting: Mass-produce Rope (5 Fiber) at the Loom. It's cheap, fast (1 hour), and gives the same XP as a complex item. 100 Rope will take you from Lv 1 to Lv 8 in about 3 in-game days.
๐ก Crafting Tips & Tricks
- Always have a Preserves Jar and Keg running โ Even if it's just a single crop, idle artisan machines are lost money.
- Keep a material stockpile โ 50 Wood, 30 Stone, 20 Fiber, and 10 of each bar type. Nothing worse than finding a new recipe and not having the mats.
- Recipe Scrolls from mining โ Every 5th floor in the Sun Haven mines has a guaranteed recipe chest. Don't skip them.
- Furniture crafting XP is lower โ Furniture gives 60% of the XP of a functional item. Use furniture for aesthetics, not grinding.
- Auto-craft queue (Mithril Workbench) โ This is amazing for bulk Preserves Jar runs. Queue up 50 Pickled Pumpkins and forget about it for a week.
- Sell raw vs processed โ Raw crops sell for 1ร, processed sells for 2โ4ร. Never sell raw animal products once you have the machine.
- Nel'Vari has unique recipes โ Visit the Nel'Vari crafting vendor for recipes you can't get anywhere else, including the Mana Infuser.
