Palia — Crop Profit Guide

Optimize your garden layout and crop selection in Palia with this complete profit guide. Unlike most farming games, Palia uses a garden-plot grid system where crops can be planted individually or in rows, and quality (star value) affects sell prices.

Note: All prices shown are base (non-star) quality. Star-quality crops sell for roughly 1.5× base price. Gardening skill level and fertilizer can also boost yield and quality.

Gardening Tips

  • Watering: Crops only grow when watered. Unwatered crops pause growth but don't die.
  • Weeds: Weeds spawn randomly on unplanted soil plots. Remove them before they spread.
  • Fertilizer: Quality Up Fertilizer is best for high-base-price crops (Ginger, Cabbage, Mushroom).
  • Multi-harvest: Tomato, Corn, Cotton, Pepper, and Blueberry produce multiple items per harvest — great for cooking ingredients.
  • Gifting: Star-quality Blueberries are a liked gift for many NPCs; Star-quality Sweet Leaf is a weekly want for some.
  • Plot expansion: Invest in extra soil plots as soon as you level up — more plots = more gold.

Weekly Profit Estimate (20 Plots)

Fast Cycle Lettuce, Carrot, Spinach ~900
Balanced Cabbage, Potato, Onion, Bok Choy ~1,600
High Value Ginger, Mushroom, Blueberry ~2,200
Star Focus Ginger (Quality Fertilizer) ~3,000+
